Once again Samsung, the world's No. 1 smartphone maker, has won the race. In comparison to any of its predecessors, it has marked the highest global sales in a very short period of time. Its just three months and Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone has hit a record of more than 20 million all over the world.
It was in end of May, when the flagship smartphone powered by Google’s Android operating system was launched by Samsung Electronics Co. in Europe.
Three months prior it release, the latest smartphone models from rivals Apple, Nokia and Motorola were also announced. According to the reports of the Strategy Analytics, in 2011, the worldwide records of smartphone shipments clearly stated that Samsung left behind Apple too in that year.
Samsung is honored and pleased to state that the vigorous sales of S III are helping it to hold and continue its supremacy in the entire smartphone market.
There have been several legal reports from Apple all over the world stating that most of the Samsung’s smartphones are copied from their designing and innovations. The latest smartphone S III is another add-on in its “copycat” list with a U. S. court. Samsung is badly enmeshed in legal brawls with Apple around the world.
