Easyjet to Allocate Seats to Passengers from November

While taking in consideration of the demands of the air travelers, the Easyjet has promised of introducing allocated seating. The allocated seating facilities will be introduced somewhere in November.

Although the scheme is due to be introduced, people will be allowed to book tickets earlier. The passengers through pre-booking will be provided with opportunity to book a seat according to their comforts like extra leg space.

Before making the announcement of introducing the allocated seating, the carrier did conduct a research. During the research, it was found that about 70% of the air travelers wanted the scheme to be placed immediately.

Easyjet is of the view that its new scheme will satisfy its customers and will also attract more consumers. A spokesman of Easyjet said, “This is not about revenue-generation, but about customer satisfaction”. It has come to light that during the financial tough times, the Easyjet had been able to attract more customers.

Easyjet is hopeful that its scheme of allocating seat during the booking time will provide passengers an opportunity to enjoy their journey at reasonable prices. The date of introducing the scheme is yet to be announced.
