A fight was to be held between Lovemore Ndou and Rivan Cessaire on late Friday in Melbourne, a recent report throws light. But, Ndou had to withdraw from the same as he has been entangled by a virus, which has caused to suffer varied problems before the fight.

Ndou, 41, is a former IBF junior welterweight boxing world champion, who has earlier gunned down clichés regarding race and age. The same work has been done in those 16 years he has spent in Australia, the report finds.

While he is endowed with a talent of wowing stereotypes, the report finds, he has further been aiming at extending his precincts. It has been found that he is now aiming at helping those, especially the African youth, who move to build their personalities in a new nation. “The whole thing is trying to keep the children out of trouble”, he said.

As far as his fight is considered, though, Ndou was all set for it; diarrhea and vomiting along with stomach cramps started disturbing him at around 2am. Getting checked at near about 7am to 8am, a blood test showed he was dehydrated with an infection.

He has told that he had been put on a drip with two medications that could help him recover soon.
