The Food and Drug Administration has sent a letter to French cosmetics giant L'Oreal in regard to the advertisement being used its Lancome products. The US regulators have alleged the company for using misleading claims in regard to Lancome products, which consists of anti-aging products.

In the letter, the FDA has mentioned about the things, which they seem to be problematic. The company has boasted that the product is able to stimulate the speed of such genes, which consist of youth proteins. The product, which claims of doing so, is the Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate.

Another product, which is also considered to be quite problematic, is the Genifique Repair Youth Activating Night Cream. The company has boasted that the cream is able to increase the production of genes.

The FDA has not taken any strict action against L'Oreal and has given them a time of 15 days to answer back about the concerns being raised by them. "We request that you take prompt action to correct all violations associated with your products, including the violations identified in this letter”, was written in the letter being penned down by Michael W. Roosevelt, who has been associated with the Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition in FDA.
