The project at Allan Institute has financially supported by Paul Allen, the co-founder of Microsoft. Allan Institute is trying to gauge the genes, which at times turn off and turns on. More information regarding the progress of human brain mapping will be disclosed by the researchers soon.
Long time ago, researchers proved successful in mapping the brain of mice. It has been informed that for mapping the brain of mice, the researchers had to transcribe DNA to RNA, a chemical. Later, the RNA was monitored just like a hard disk of a computer. The transcription of RNA helped researchers in gauging as to what kind of activities have been taking place in the brain.
While sharing the moment, Ed Lein, a neuroscientist said, "At the moment we're making descriptions. A key role for the neuroscience community is to understand how these differences relate to the unique properties of the human brain".
