Marijuana’s Component Can Save Lives from Cancer,  Say Researchers

There is good news for the families who have experienced the aggressiveness of cancer. According to a recent study conducted by the researchers of San Francisco's California Pacific Medical Center a component of marijuana can help in limiting the spread of cancer.

It has been informed that cannabidiol found in marijuana can help patients affected with aggressive form of cancers. This particular component targets the cancer cells directly and stops their growth and spread in the patients.

Cancer is a deadly disease. Researchers from all over the world have found various factors that contribute to the development of cancer. However, no concrete treatment is available that could prevent cancer from spreading to other parts of body.

It is hoped that the recent findings will help researchers in devising effective treatment. The researchers have been studying marijuana for quite long time. For past 20 years, researchers have conducted various tests over marijuana.

But, the recent findings are promising as it can help in preventing innocent lives. The co-author of the study, Dr. Sean McAllister said, “The preclinical trial data is very strong, and there's no toxicity. There's really a lot or research to move ahead with and to get people excited”.
