It has been reported that giant car manufacturer, BMW has recalled its M5 and M6 models as complaints were registered against them for consuming huge fuel. The fuel being consumed by the two cars can adversely affect the working of the engines.

Soon, the BMW will be contacting the owners of its two cars so that they could be saved from the expenses of engine damage. The owners of M5 and M6 have been asked not to drive the cars unless and until the issue has been resolved by the car makers.

The manufacturer of the car has confirmed that there have been some defects while manufacturing the cars. The defected models were built in July and September, 2012. The defected models have led to the halted deliveries of the new cars.

During an interview, BMW said, “Because of this potential, BMW and its dealers will stop delivery of all affected vehicles until the recall repair has been completed”. It is hoped that the defects will be addressed soon so that the owners of the cars could be freed from unwanted stress. Timely repair will also help the manufacturer in delivering new cars.
