As per a report being revealed by the Ohio Department of Health, it has been revealed that breast cancer is one of the common chronic disease that strike Ohio based women. If to include statistics then 28% cancer cases are of breast cancer.
The report has further revealed that in total 8,073 breast cancer cases have been reported from 2003 to 2007 in Ohio. The number is alarming enough to wake up Ohio women and make them aware of the possible causes of breast cancer.
Experts were of the view that it would be the best time to remain alert about the cancer, as October is coming, which is considered to be the breast cancer awareness month. The month brings back a lot of memories among women, who have suffered the disease or who have remained in proximity with those, who battled the cancer.
Both the categories are beneficial, as they have firsthand experience. "It's a scary thing for people to go through. The most important thing about this is the money stays local to help local people fighting the disease”, said Debbie Dennis, who have suffered breast cancer some four years back. Experts suggest that people should share their experiences, so that women can remain alert.
