Starbucks Opens Store in India Now

To make a foothold in the growing consumer market, Starbucks has for the first time ever opened a store in India. It was Friday, when the Mumbai store inaugurated a coffee house operator in another country i. e. India, according to a latest report.

As per the findings, it is the 61st country, where the operator of coffee house has been put. Previously, the store has had business operations in China for a period of 13 years. Also, many other countries are seeing similar operations. It has been told that China is also an economic power on rise with tea as an established beverage.

Starbucks affirmed that it needs time to think which partner to engage with, since the business needs thought to survive as well as succeed in a complex market. The statement however came after questions from Indians why the store took so long to introduce an operator in the nation.

CEO Howard Schultz is of the opinion that Tata Global Beverages is best to be a partner, which is India's best-known conglomerates' unit. The company is estimating that the consumption of coffee in India would almost get doubled in the next five years.

"You could be selling lemonade in Starbucks in India and people would still come", said Technopak chairman Arvind Singhal.
