Orionid Meteor Shower To Take Place Tonight

Tonight, celestial show will take place that will sway away the hearts of millions. Astronomers of the NASA have informed that Orionid meteor shower will take place on Saturday's night till Sunday's morning.

Bill Cooke from NASA said, "Earth is passing through a stream of debris from Halley's Comet, the source of the Orionids. Flakes of comet dust hitting the atmosphere should give us dozens of meteors per hour". Venus, red Mars, the dog star Sirius and constellation Orion will also be bright as compared to every day.

Those who want to witness the beautiful moment should stay awake on Saturday's night till 2:00 a. m. However, if one is unable to view the meteor shower then one can search on internet as pictures will be available on various websites.

It is estimated that the meteor shower will originate from Orion. The celestial show will begin at 11:00 p. m. tonight. Don't forget to keep warm jackets with you as it will be cold at night. One can even take the advantage of the event for proposing their loved ones. Stick with your family to enjoy an amazing moment while watching shooting stars.
