Though, delays had been expected by the Kindle Paperwhite, Amazon's Kindle Fire HD tablets have successfully gone for sales today in the UK, a recent report has unfolded. Amazon is an online retail giant, which has this time brought into front Android powered tablets.

However, people seeking the company's latest e-reader devices may be less excited for the new tabs. But, other residents of the nation would probably be much happy with the new devices, which come with numerous amazing features.

As per the findings, the tab includes a 7in high definition touchscreen with a decent 1.2GHz dual-core processor. Also, it features Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and is aimed at taking on Apple Ipad Mini as well as the Google Nexus 7.

Further, the new tablet comprises of 3G and WiFi connectivity, an 11 hour battery life and 16GB and 32GB of internal storage. A 1.3MP front-facing camera adds to its excellence and Lovefilm comes preloaded with it. It is a film streaming service, which would be seen baked into Amazon's Video application, bringing X-Ray as well for movies.

The Kindle Paperwhite may start sales by 30 November and the 3G version may be available by 3 December, the report finds.
