In August, Hywel Dda Health Board introduced a plan called `Your Health, Your Future'. The aim of launching the plan was to make people aware about the health services that they can avail. While drafting the plan, the public was asked to voice their suggestions so that effective changes in the health care sectors could be brought.

The deadline to get the suggestions of the public registered is drawing near. The coming Monday will be the last day for the public to get their suggestion registered. However, it has come to light that not all have taken up the opportunity to bring significant changes in the health care sector.

Public has even been asked to comment over the closure of Special Care Baby Unit in Withybush Hospital. People are being urged to take the advantage and help in improving care services of to orthopaedics, obstetrics and children's care.

Cllr Alun Byrne said, "Agreement between Hywel Dda Health Board and local GP's have yet to be endorsed and there is little confidence a conclusion will be reached which will benefit local patients". It is hoped that the public will take action and suggest valuable changes in the health care sector.
