"We're not party poopers. We love treats like the next person, but it's important that we practice a good diet and good oral hygiene afterwards", affirmed Adventure Dental's dentist Dr. David Neil in Salmon Creek, while coming up with such tricks that make the Halloween candy less appalling amongst people.
Children love to have the candies and that too, big ones, the report says. But this is very obvious and sweet like the candies, when people of any age are found crazy about it. But, parents denying for too much candy seem humdrum to fun-loving kids. Though, the reason is their well-being only.
Parents are concerned that children may get cavities in their teeth and the food they eat may be ingested by the bacteria. Since, they also love to live on carbohydrates and sugars. Also, continuous exposure to sugar may lead children to have a highly acidic mouth.
It is therefore that amid all other dentists, two dentists' offices have proposed tricks, dentist-approved, which include eating sugar-free candies. It is being said that one may also prefer taking in candies after meals and not between two meals.
Further, say the doctors, the main thing should be brushing after eating sweets.
