Dead Finback Whale to Be Buried On Rockport Beach

It seems the Hurricane Sandy is in no mood to leave anything as it has managed to flood out the dead Finback on the Boston Harbor Islands. However, it will be sent back there on Thursday.

The remains of the dead finback whale would be buried on Rockport Beach. It is believed that the whale is very much accessible for heavy equipment, thus making the return of the whale a lot feasible.

"We have a plan in place to have a scientist from the Mass. Division of Marine Fisheries to come in and take the bones, then we'll bury the remaining pieces of the whale", said Joe Parisi, director of Rockport's Public Works Department, while claiming that there won't be much expenses to dispose off as once the bones are removed, there is going to be a loose blubber and flesh to be buried.

Nonetheless, people are curious to know a lot more about the same. It was further told that as soon as the whale is cut, public works employees would extend their help in moving the bones to a trailer, and after that, they will shift the rest to the burial spot, just a short distance away from the Beach. The exact position of the burial spot is being kept under covers.
