Climate Scientists Concerned About Global Climate Changes
Politicians, environmentalists, researchers and scientists from all over the world are concerned about global climate changes that have been taking place for the past many years now. Hurricane Sandy recently caused much havoc at East Coast, which has added to the worries of researchers.
It is not certain whether or not the hurricane was a result of global climate changes taking place all over the world. But, researchers and scientists have asked people to learn from the experience. Scientists have warned that if man-made activities are not put under control then sever changes in climate could take place.
These changes can cause havoc over the environment. Draught, tsunami and flood are some of the adverse consequences of climate changes. Many nations have already experienced the consequences. Researchers from all over the world have asked nations to take actions to reduce the harm being imposed to environment through man-made activities.
Critics have pointed out that the US President Obama has failed to bring in adequate measures for dealing with global climate change. It has further been accused that the Republican Party has not recognized the global warming signs. The climate scientists highlighted the issue of carbon dioxide and of other environmental issues to politicians in 1980s. However, no step has yet been taken to address the issues.
