It is becoming really difficult for some to understand why the NHS is lacking professionalism while providing right care to patients.

The facts that have been bought forward recently in a 53-page dossier prepared by the Patients Association on poor patient care by the NHS has become a big concern for all.

The same has been stated as `shocking and tragic' by the health secretary Mr. Jeremy Hunt, as the dossier that has been compiled by patient campaigners have minutely detailed about the appalling treatments that have been experienced by some people in NHS hospitals and care homes.

Upon the dossier, the Patients Association said it has showcased some of the very serious failings, which exposes how some of the patients in the facility are still facing "demeaning, painful and sometimes downright cruel attitude" of the staff.

The submitted report named as Patient Stories, has talked about the negligence of staff towards 13 mainly older patients in NHS facilities (some of whom have now died) and the traumatic effect that the behavior of the staff had on them and their families.

NHS is a big name that is known to treat million patients every 36 hours and so many believe that the facility is far from isolated instances of poor care.
