Thanksgiving Day in Detroit to Support Movember

Thanksgiving Day football game is being held in Detroit, as per a recent report, as part of `Movember', a high-level campaign that aims to fight varied health problems of men. The day would be encouraging people to talk about problems to each other and not to hesitate while going for a treatment or consultation.

Men are being asked in a large number to come up and be a part of the campaign by growing moustaches. Since, the moustaches would be later shaven off and the same would help thousands of patients to get better by raising money.

It is being said that growing `mos' or moustaches and beards is a way to encourage other people to take care of their health. These `mos' are a sign that the Movember Foundation is making all possible efforts in raising awareness about men's health issues like prostate cancer.

The day would also shed light over the risks imposed on a person when a health condition goes unnoticed or undiagnosed. Michigan's Blue Cross Blue Shield has planned to supply 50,000 "Movember" themed towels this Thursday at Ford Field. Suggestions are that people follow a healthy lifestyle.

"Anyone with concerns or questions about their health should contact their physician", said Blue Cross's Grant Piotti.
