Male Sex Hormone Testosterone Injections Reduce Health Attack Risk

A recent research has found that injections of the male sex hormone testosterone could change a lot in men, besides boosting sex drive. It has been claimed by the US study that men who received a course of five injections were reported to have experienced improvement in their fitness level, thereby reducing heart attack risk.

"The results are impressive. The reduction in erectile dysfunction was highly significant", asserted Professor Hugh Jones, consultant endocrinologist at Barnsley Hospital, and co-author of the study, while confirming that the study was basically done on those men who were noted to have reduced levels of testosterone.

However, it has also been added that the study can also occur on the far larger group which has observed drop in testosterone as usually happens due to age in men.

It is to be noted that those who are found to have low Testosterone, the hormone produced by the testicles, are more likely to suffer from reduced libido, which also affects their tendency to produce enough red blood cells.

"If middle-aged men fall asleep early in the evening, get excessively tired or prematurely lose interest in sex, see your GP", added Prof Persad while claiming that despite the age, men must keep on living a healthy life style to spend a content, disease-free life till the end.
