Climate Change Report Leaked

Humans are responsible for the warmer planet, says the draft of a major global warming report by the UN that was leaked on the Internet.

The news is talking about the fifth assessment report (AR5) made by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) that was uploaded onto a website known as Stop Green Suicide and has since been mirrored elsewhere on the Internet saying that scientists have held humans responsible for causing the planet to warm.

But reports coming from the Guardian are majorly talking about the sentence that was heralded by the climate skeptics as `game-changing', which they believe interprets to the meaning saying that cosmic rays might be having a greater warming influence on the planet than the mankind's emissions.

According to the reports of the paper, the leaked draft of `summary for policymakers' has a statement that is somewhat contradicting the climate skeptics' interpretation.

"There is consistent evidence from observations of a net energy uptake of the earth system due to an imbalance in the energy budget. It is virtually certain that this is caused by human activities, primarily by the increase in CO2 concentrations", the draft said, adding that there is a very high confidence that natural forcing is contributing a very small fraction to this occurring imbalance.

According to the paper, the scientists are 99 percent sure that people are responsible for this growing problem as they have mentioned "virtually certain".
