As elections are nearing closure, US President Barack Obama is leaving no stone unturned to gain popularity. However, it is least expected that Obama would be paying attention to ever-growing problems of fiscal deficit, poor health care and long-waiting period at the hospitals.
It has been reported that Mr. Obama is paying unnecessary attention to those policies which have failed to attract the middle-class families. His first campaign ad has already been released. Moreover, he is stopping by all the states for giving pre-election speech.
Today, Obama was spotted at the Ann Arbor. He was said to be on an official visit but he did take up the opportunity to give a pre-election speech to the residents of the Ann Arbor. In the speech, Obama claimed of having invested additional $4.5 trillion to the national debt.
He further noted that his government is working on the way by which the burden of medical cost from the people could be eased. At the time of initial unemployment cases, the Government of Obama came up with $1-trillion stimulus program. However, the efforts of the government failed as the unemployment experienced yet another jerk.
It is estimated that more than 360,000 Americans are unemployed today. However on the video campaign, Obama said that ways would be found to deal with the surging incidents of unemployment. Obama is aiming at increasing the taxes so that the investment in the development could be increased.
It would be seen in the coming time only as to what will be the future of the US elections. While criticizing the move of Obama, the Republican United States Representative, Ron Paul, said, “I think they're all wrong. This is a typical result of when you get government involved, because all you are arguing about is which form of government you want. They have way too much confidence in government sorting this out”.
