700-pound Livermore man asks for help to lose weight

Robert Gibbs wants lose weight and this is what he wants for his birthday, he wants help, if someone is willing, to make him lose weight.

He has become 23 years old now and weighs about 700 pound and he used the internet to let the message go across as he put up a video of his on YouTube pleading for the assistance of anyone who would be willing. Since the age of four, Gibbs has been obese and now wants to lose weight.

He said, “I'm just trying to get some help from somebody. Nutritionist, personal trainer, Dr. Phil, 'Biggest Loser,' anything... get this to become one of the most watched videos ever. Eventually someone will see it, and then maybe I can get some help.”

His wish that he asked on his birthday might just get true as in 24 hours his video garnered more than 200,000 and both professional and others have lent support.

The young man has got support from a spokeswoman for the "Dr. Phil" show along with several alumni from ‘The Biggest Loser’ and renowned weight-loss experts.

The young man has stated how his battle with obesity has been for many years and he cannot stand up for more than a few minutes. Fast food is something that he eats to fulfill his addiction and twice he has gone to the hospital for his obesity.
