Prince William Makes a Video Appeal for the Hospital

The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, has requested people to give cash to The Royal Marsden Hospital, South West London. He has been patron of the hospital from a very long time. The Duke has been its president since
2007 and has an emotional bond with the hospital.

Target of the hospital is to raise £100m over the next 10 years. Authorities are planning to upgrade the hospital and help people by providing cure to the patients suffering from cancer.

The hospital has been carrying out treatment for the past 10 years. It is the world's leading center of cancer. It specializes in diagnosis, treatment and research of the disease.

Prince William has made video appeal to the masses. His appeal calls for fulfilling the target by 2023. Hospital boss Cally Palmer has been very happy with Duke because of the amount of efforts he has put in to achieve the aim. He said that the duke has been very involved in the proceedings of the tasks performed in the hospital-right from providing latest technology to the health of the patients and their families.

It has been revealed that striker Jermain Defoe, whose father died in the hospital last year, would also be part of the campaign.
