Sleeping Alone Is Better For Health

According to a new research, couples who sleep together have 50% more troubled sleep than those who sleep separately. The British sleep guru, Neil Stanley, told audiences around the world about effectiveness of sleeping alone in saving marriages through sleep divorces.

The sleep expert said that there is a strong belief among couples that sleeping together is necessary to maintain the relationship and any deviation from that indicates that the relationship is threatened.

Stanley added that there are a lot of things that can lead to sleeping problems when two adults share a mattress. If a partner snores loudly, hogs the blankets or disturbs your sleep by any means, the result would be two miserable people.

"It's all nice to kiss and have a cuddle, but at some point you say, `I'm going to sleep now,' and that means leave me alone", he said. It is better to go to a separate room and sleep because it is vital for the body.

A study conducted in 2011 at Laval University revealed that about 40% of the people in Canada have sleeping disorders and they rely on prescription drugs to cope with sleeping problems. An annual meeting will be attended by nearly 6,000 experts in Baltimore to address the concern for increasing sleeping problems.
