Anorexic Girl Proves Fit for Modelling
A former pupil of Thorpe St Andrew School in Norwich has shown success in her fight against anorexia. It has been found that 26-year-old Alice Jackson is now on her way to achieve modelling success.
Not only she is in for an international modelling contract, but is having a fashion shoot with Cosmopolitan magazine as well.
In order to take part in Star in a bra competition organized by Curvy Kate, a lingerie and swimwear retailer, enlisting herself in the final 10, the girl overcame her eating disorder. It has been found that a total of 10 `shapely women' have been chosen from the UK by the retailer selling in more than 500 stores worldwide.
Miss Jackson was one of the 700 entrants, the report found. It is, however, being said that the girl's first year far from home at Bournemouth University is still away from the competition's fun and glamour. She then had lost weight reaching 7st 10lbs, which was a concerning 4st below the suggested weight appropriate for her height.
"I was running, doing exercise classes, cycling to classes and the weight soon came off, but I became obsessed and the weight was coming off very quickly", said Hewett School's Miss Jackson in Norwich.
