Why Are False Death Report Cases Increasing?

Episodes of false deaths and similar reports are increasing and this is all happening mainly due to the social media outlets where the drama and the gossip are very promptly disseminated.

The latest news in the category is about the death of Neil Armstrong who was announced dead today. With this rumor, started coming up queries like "Didn't he die last year too?" etc. But, in actuality, yes, he died on August 25, 2012 at the age of 82.

Though many people quickly realized their mistake and recalled about the headlines that his death made last year, it is so quickly that these platforms spread the wrong information.

Terrible is the fact that these false death reports are not limited to Mr. Neil Armstrong rather many other personalities have had their supposed demises heralded far and wide. The list includes Bill Cosby's death which has been reported multiple times via twitter, Mr. Will Smith, Mr. Morgan Freeman, Mr. Eddie Murphy, Mr. Lindsay Lohan, Ms. Aretha Franklin and many more.

These false death reports are generally generated from a website called fakeawish. com which aims to prank on people and generate hoax. Twitter is also a popular source that is being used nowadays for creating drama, sources reveal.
