Hyundai, Amazon team-up to enable customers to order test drives online
Bigwig automaker Hyundai and online retail giant Amazon have announced that they have teamed up for a new pilot project which will enable customers to order test drives of the Hyundai Elantra from the Amazon website.
The new pilot program for which Hyundai and Amazon have partnered up is called ‘Prime Now. Drive Now.’
The ‘Prime Now. Drive Now’ pilot program – which is part of Amazon’s same-day delivery service – basically unfolds a new way for customers to scheduled their Hyundai Elantra test drives in advance.
The pilot program is currently available only for the 2017 Hyundai Elantra model. The program will run for only two weekends -- the August 20-21 weekend; and the August 27–28 weekend -- from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and only in Los Angeles and Orange County.
Prospective buyers interested in test driving the 2017 Hyundai Elantra can schedule a 45-60 minute test drive in advance, from Amazon’s website. During the test drive, they can take the car to their home, workplace, coffee shop, or anywhere else; with a "trained expert" onboard to respond to their queries.
