Google is offering two new color schemes for Daydream View headset
In a recent announcement, tech giant Google has revealed that it is now offering two additional festive color options for its Daydream View headset.
The Daydream View headset – which is embedded within Android – was launched by Google on November 10, on the Google Store. At launch, the company offered the headset in only one color --- ‘Slate’ gray; priced at $80.
Expanding the color options for the Daydream View headset by rolling out two new festive colors, Google said that the two new color schemes in which the headset will be available are --- a limited edition ‘Crimson’ red, and ‘Snow’ white. The cost of both the models will also be $80.
All the three models of the Daydream View headset are packaged with a motion-sensing controller for interacting with the virtual world. Presently, the headset is supported by five Android smartphones -- Google’s Pixel and Pixel XL handsets; and Motorola’s Moto Z, Moto Z Droid, and Moto Z Force Droid handsets -- with more Daydream-compatible smartphones on the cards.
Meanwhile, along with announcing the new ‘Crimson’ and ‘Snow’ Daydream View models, Google has also revealed that the Daydream app list now boasts some new additions, including HBO Go, HBO Now, and NextVR apps.
