Chanel Launched Its New Autumn/Winter Couture Collection

It has been reported that the elite fashion brand, Chanel’s new collection for 2010/11 was showcased yesterday at the Paris's Palais Royal. The show was a big hit and the outfits were fabulous.

The sources who were present at the show informed that this time Chanel has tried to do something different from its previous collections.

The dresses were designed with the help of beads and costume jewelry. The work done on them was very striking and was looking extremely stunning.

The outfits were made of very bright colors and some were even embroidered. The man behind these designs, Karl Lagerfeld said that the Chanel has deviated from its traditional black wool jackets and gem-work.

He has designed the dresses with a variety of linings and has also used gold brocade. These are the reasons why Chanel is one of the most expensive brands and is chosen by many famous celebrities.

The Editor of the Vogue said that he always admire the work done by Lagerfeld. He also said that without Lagerfeld, Chanel wouldn’t have attained the status and position which it presently has.

He has given a new life to the brand with his hard work and creativity. Most of the dresses under the new collection are of knee length and look very elegant and simple.

A buyer from Kuwait who was also present at the show said, "The coats were beautiful and the clothes were far more wearable than Dior”.
