Latest BlackBerry DTEK60 image leak reveals the handset’s front design

In a newly leaked image pertaining to BlackBerry’s forthcoming DTEK60 Android-powered smartphone, well-known leaker Evan Blass – also called @evleaks – has revealed some new information about the front design of the handset.

The upcoming BlackBerry DTEK60 will be the Canadian smartphone maker’s third Android-powered handset. The first Android smartphone, the PRIV, was launched by BlackBerry was launched in late 2015; while the second Android handset, DTEK50, was launched by the company in July 2016.

Blackberry is expected to roll out its new DTEK60 Android-powered smartphone in the near future, though the exact date of release of the handset has not yet been officially announced by the company.

According to the latest image leaked by Blass, the DTEK60 handset will boast a sleek overall design, with slightly curved edges and on-screen navigation buttons. The image also hints at some notable app icons like BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) and the Google Play Store, among others.

Though Blass has not detailed the specifications of the DTEK60 handset in the latest leak, it is widely speculated that the handset will feature a 5.5-inch QHD display; a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor; Adreno 530 graphics; 4GB of RAM; 32GB onboard storage capacity; a 21-megapixel rear camera; an 8-megapixel front camera; a 3,000 mAh battery; and a USB Type-C port.
